Coverage questions

Not sure if we're in-network?

Insurance can be confusing — here's how to check your coverage before your first visit, and how we can help.

01

Check your card

Look at the back of your insurance card for a member services number and your plan name — you'll want both handy.

02

Call your insurer

Ask whether "outpatient mental health / behavioral health" services are covered, and whether we're in-network for your specific plan.

03

Ask us to verify

Still unsure? Reach out with your insurance provider and plan name and our team will help confirm your benefits before you book.

Getting ready

Before your first session.

A little preparation can make your first visit feel easier. Here's what's helpful to know beforehand.

01

Paperwork

You'll receive intake forms to complete beforehand — bring a photo ID and your insurance card to your first appointment.

02

What to expect

The first session is mostly conversation — your clinician will ask about what brings you in and what you're hoping for.

03

Telehealth setup

Joining by video? Find a private, quiet space with a stable connection a few minutes before your session starts.

04

No wrong answers

You don't need to have the "right" words. Share what feels comfortable — the pace is always yours to set.
